The older I get the more I believe the saying, “If you don’t have your health you don’t have anything!” Without your health you miss out on important experiences and relationships! Today’s guest shares how to get totally, rather than partially, healthy. He also talks about how health can make you sexier!
Show notes
The more I investigate my own health, the more I see that for most of my life I’ve only had a partial picture of health.
When I went to the doctor for knee pain I was sent to get an x-ray and to a physical therapist, but it wasn’t until I started exploring food choices that created inflammation, as well as how I sit, breathe, etc. that I started to heal the pain.
Years ago when I was having pelvic pain I came to see that many of the triggers are emotional, not just physical. Sadly I didn’t figure this out until I went to a urologist for incredibly painful physical procedures.
Our medical system is extremely compartmentalized. It focuses more on disease management than creating healthy people, says today’s Man Alive podcast guest Udo Erasmus.
Udo has been focusing on a TOTAL view of health for decades. He has been working with everything from biology to spirituality and has an understanding of health that is more holistic and inclusive than most practitioners I’ve studied.
In this conversation we discussed…

- Why true health is even more important in this day and age amidst Covid and climate change
