There is a painful dynamic that can happen between men and women where a woman becomes resentful, bitchy or mean and a man feels like he can’t do anything right. In today’s podcast Melanie Curtin and I explore why this happens and what a man can do to end this dynamic!
Show notes
I know relating to women isn’t always easy, especially when they are more emotional, demanding or upset.
The reality is that women need to express emotions if they are going to open their hearts, and bodies, to you! If they don’t they become more dry, distant and less turned on.
When a woman is upset it doesn’t mean you’re bad or wrong, or that you’ve done something bad or wrong, but many men fall into the trap of seeing it this way. Then they try to avoid a woman’s upset. This sets up a painful dynamic and it gets even more painful when it becomes the norm.
When a woman is bitching or yelling at you it seems like she’s expressing emotion but it’s so unconscious that it’s not helping her release or open her heart!
If a woman is verbally abusing you then you need that dynamic to change or you need to leave.
In many other cases though, while it would seem like you want to get her to change, the only one you have the power to change is you!
This Man Alive episode is an exploration of what you can do when you feel helpless or stuck with a woman’s emotions.
